Operations Division
The Patrol Division is the largest component of the Police Department, led by Lt. Jason Day. The patrol division is made up of four patrol teams that keep the streets of Beaufort safe 24/7.
Responsibilities
Most police functions are handled through this division, such as:
- Business checks
- Criminal apprehension
- Report taking
- Residential patrols
- Routine patrols
- Traffic enforcement
