Business resources during COVID-19

There is a lot of information that is flooding in from the federal and state government now for struggling businesses. Here is a list of resources to help.

The Beaufort County Economic Development Corporation has a new handbook to help businesses navigate the various resources that are available or will soon be available. Find it here. Find it here. Also, the BCEDC is offering itself as a one-stop contact for questions: (843) 226-3462 or ‘No questions are too small, please don’t hesitate to contact us!’

The Beaufort County Regional Chamber of Commerce has a Coronavirus Resource Center devoted to resources for businesses in our community and suggestions on how we can safely support those businesses. Find it here.

Beaufort County also has a list of business resources. Find it here.

Congressman Joe Cunningham has a list of federal, state and local resources for small businesses. Find it here.

Law firm Gignilliat, Savitz & Bettis, LLP has prepared a resource page for South Carolina employers that includes regulatory and unemployment information. This Families First Coronavirus Response Act FAQ is from the U.S. Department of Labor.
