Remember – almost all business with City of Beaufort can be done from home

BEAUFORT, S.C. (June 23, 2020) – Although the City of Beaufort has reopened to the public, residents, businesses, and visitors are reminded that almost all services are available online, or via phone calls.

Those who need to do business with the City should consider whether an in-person visit to City Hall is really necessary, as Covid-19 continues to spread in Beaufort County.

These departments can be reached by phone and email:

Plexiglass shields have been installed in the departments that have face-to-face interactions with the public – planning, permits, and business licenses. If a member of the public does not have a mask, a mask will be provided. Hand sanitizer will also be available for the public.

Social distancing is being observed within departments and with the public.
