Ladies and Gentlemen:
As we continue to prepare for an active hurricane season, the Mossy Oaks Project and BJWSA are taking expedited steps to relocate water lines to accommodate improved drainage lines.
Tomorrow -- Thursday, Aug. 27 -- residents on West Royal Oaks can expect some interruptions to water service between 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. while BJWSA relocates water service lines that conflict with the ongoing improvements to the stormwater system. This should only affect those residents on West Royal Oaks.
Again, we are taking these expedited steps in anticipation of an elevated hurricane season and to lessen the impact associated with these types of storms.
Thank you very much for your continued support and patience as we improve the quality of life for all residents in the Mossy Oaks neighborhood. Questions, comments or concerns should be directed to Neal Pugliese, Chairman Mossy Oaks Drainage Task Force at npugliese@cityofbeaufort.org.
