Ladies and Gentlemen:
Please see the two maps that detail work in the next week in Basin 1 (vicinity of the Duck Pond) and Basin 2 (vicinity of Southside Park).
Basin 1
As stated last week, the drainage project in Basin I is substantially complete and the entire system is working precisely as designed. This week, minor but supporting drainage was improved on Battery Creek Road and Coates Lane. Further, a sewage system was repaired along Battery Creek Road. Next week, finishing work will be done in the vicinity of the Duck Pond, and in the near future, finishing work will be completed in the ditch between North Royal Oaks and Battery Creek Road. Lastly, preparations will be made for final road-paving in selected areas.

Basin 2
Work in Basin II is nearly complete! This week the temporary coffer dam was removed. In the following weeks, the newly installed tidal flap gates will be calibrated and the Spanish Moss Trail will be restored for the full enjoyment of our residents and visitors.

Safety!
We are pleased to report another perfect week of safety. Although there is less construction activity throughout the area, please continue to drive responsibly. Further, Dominion Energy is substantially complete with pruning operations, but crews will be in the area for the next few weeks completing punch list items and detail work. Dominion will have heavy machinery and trucks in the area. Please allot extra time when transiting the area and remember that if you cannot see heavy machine operators, they cannot see you.
Stay Informed
Please continue to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns. All issues are important and they will be addressed in a timely fashion.
This multi-million-dollar project remains on schedule and on budget!
Enjoy the terrific weather this weekend.
