City offices to close on Monday for Juneteenth

Juneteenth freedom day

BEAUFORT, S.C. (June 13, 2023) –  City of Beaufort offices will be closed on Monday, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. 

Trash pickup and recycling that is normally scheduled for Mondays will not be interrupted.

The City of Beaufort wishes its residents, businesses, and visitors a very happy holiday weekend.
