Professional Experience
Judge Mary Sharp has served as a part-time judge since May, 2000.
She has her own firm, Sharp Law Firm, LLC, where she represents
individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of civil litigation
matters.
She has also taught introductory law, ethics, legal research and writing classes to paralegals in training at the Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort. She is a certified mediator. In 2010, Judge Sharp was invited to become a Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Education
Judge Sharp received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from North Carolina
State University in 1990, and her Juris Doctor from the Wake Forest
University School of Law in 1993.
Awards
In 2009, she was honored as one of 10 South Carolina "Leaders in the
Law" by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly in their inaugural year of
presenting the awards.

In addition to her legal community leadership roles, Judge Sharp is
