Police Department
Welcome!
Welcome to City of Beaufort’s Police Department page. Our goal with our website is to provide helpful information to our residents, and to be transparent with data about activity reports, daily incident reports, and demographic reports.
Our officers and staff are committed to being responsive to our community in the delivery of quality services. We recognize our responsibility to maintain order, while affording dignity and respect to every individual. Our objective is to improve the quality of life through a community partnership that promotes safe, secure neighborhoods. You can find out more about our mission, vision, values and principles here.
Our department has embraced community policing since 1995, when a resolution was adopted by City Council establishing the principles of community policing (click on Principles), a partnership between our department and the community we serve.
Emergency calls
Dial 911 for emergencies.
