Planning retreat set for Jan. 30-31

BEAUFORT, S.C. (Jan. 23, 2024) -- The City of Beaufort's annual planning retreat will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 30-31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The retreat will be held in the Police Department's training room, on the second floor of the PD's headquarters, 1901 Boundary St.

Among the items to be discussed: current fiscal year budget status, status of current initiatives, a review of current capital projects, and an in-depth look at emerging capital project needs. It will also include brief presentations from some of the City’s strategic partners.

The retreat is open to the public. Public comment will be welcomed on both days during the retreat. The retreat will also be livestreamed on the City's Facebook page.
