BEAUFORT, S.C. (Dec. 5, 2024) – Mayor Phil Cromer and City Councilmen Neil Lipsitz and Mitch Mitchell will be sworn in to new four-year terms at the City Council Regular Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 10, which begins at 6 p.m. The swearing-in, performed by Municipal Court Judge Ned Tupper, will take place at City Council chambers.
All three were recently re-elected to four-year terms. Lipsitz and Mitchell are beginning their second terms on Council. Cromer was elected mayor in a special election held in December 2023. Before that, he served two terms on City Council.
The public is invited to attend this ceremony, which will be followed by a short meeting agenda.
