BEAUFORT, S.C. (Jan. 24, 2025) – The City of Beaufort offices will remain closed tomorrow Friday, Jan. 24 due to unsafe road conditions. City offices will return to normal hours on Monday January 27th.
Capital Waste will resume their routes once the roads are safe to operate. As long as weather permits, they will have extra trucks running on Friday and Saturday to service Wednesday through Friday routes. If you are on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday route please have your bins out by Friday morning for pick up.

Road conditions still continue to be icy and dangerous, so please stay off the roads if possible.
The City will continue to actively monitor the road conditions to provide timely information.
