BEAUFORT, S.C. (Nov. 30, 2023) – The Pigeon Point Dock is closed to boaters and pedestrians. It has suffered significant damage and the City of Beaufort is evaluating options for replacement.
The boat ramp remains open at this time.
City Manager Scott Marshall said, “While we understand the significance of the dock to the community, options for further repair to the existing floats are not possible and recent damage has made it unsafe to use.”
