[ARCHIVED] City offices to close on Veterans Day

BEAUFORT, S.C. (Nov. 1, 2022) –  The City of Beaufort will be closed to honor Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11. The annual Veterans Parade, sponsored by the Beaufort County Veterans Affairs Office, will begin at 10 a.m. on Nov. 11 at the Beaufort National Cemetery.  

Other veterans events this month include:

  • Wreaths Across America mobile exhibit national tour: noon-5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, Beaufort County Administration Building, 100 Ribaut Road
  • Remembering our Fallen: Nov. 9-13 at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. This photographic exhibit honors our military who gave their lives during the Global War on Terror.
  • Military Appreciation Day: 3-5 p.m. Nov. 19, Naval Heritage Park, Port Royal

We thank our veterans and their families for their service to our country.
