BEAUFORT, S.C. (June 27, 2024) – City of Beaufort offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day.

Capital Waste Services will also observe the holiday. Thursday pickups for trash/recycling will move to Friday, and Friday pickups to Saturday.

Port Royal is hosting a July 4th celebration at Sands Beach, with food, drink and music, and fireworks after sunset.

We wish our residents, businesses, and visitors a very happy, healthy, and safe Fourth of July!
