New redevelopment project at 1604 King Street

The project entails 4 new townhomes/rowhomes (attached) with detached garages in the rear (in between Herban Market & Café and King Street) to be built.

The location is within the Bladen Street Redevelopment Overlay District, and thus, does not require the developer from complying with the review and approval process (by the Historic District Review Board) as outside of this redevelopment district.

We are wanting to collect public comments thru Friday, February 13, 2026.
