Dear Residents:
The drainage area ditch marked by the green line below will undergo improvements between Oct. 21-Oct. 23. Specifically, some trees and vegetation will be removed. For reference, the homes outlined in blue are the ones that bound the drainage ditch, which extend from West Royal Oaks Drive to North Royal Oaks Drive. This maintenance and repair work will increase rainwater storage capacity, improve flow, and reduce the potential for flooding.
The area will be cleared of all obstructions, vegetative growth and garbage; this will facilitate improved drainage. Every effort will be made to preserve trees that do not impede drainage. There is no expense to the affected homeowners and the City will work diligently to limit the disruptions associated with the cleanout as best as possible. We deeply appreciates the continued patience of the residents as drainage is improved throughout Mossy Oaks.
